If the lens is a Pentax K-mount it will. Otherwise you’ll need an adapter. Of course it won’t auto focus and it probably won’t allow you to use the camera’s metering system in auto.
I think you’d be better off buying a lens that is fully compatible with your K20D. Tamron, Sigma and Tokina all offer fully compatible lenses as well as the Pentax lenses made by Pentax.

I’m a Nikon fan, but have also worked a lot with Canon and can’t say enough about their quality. I’d say the Canon!

Nikon D5000 is a better choice.It take stunning picture even in low light.Easy to use and compact size,easy to travel.Nikon is a better brand,have more lens choice and accessories.
